I’ve so missed having time to cook–both planned-out things and little impromptu things.
Like lunch: baby spinach, romaine lettuce, avocado, fresh tomato, walnuts, and dried berries with golden raisins, with dressing (I prefer thousand island) and seasoned turkey burger. That was impromptu.
Tomorrow we’re making chili-rubbed steak, chunky guacamole salsa, pan-grilled portobello mushrooms, and citrus hot chocolate. That’s planned. Hopefully this means I’ll also be able to get back to reviewing more cookbooks!
Last night’s Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis season premieres were fantastic, and now I can’t wait to see Battlestar Galactica. I also plan on catching Eureka, just because it looks like fun. If you’re a GM for a Stargate campaign and didn’t catch the “science of Stargate” special on before the episode, I highly recommend it. It’s great for inspiration and plot material! (Not to mention Amanda Tapping is a lot of fun.)
