Creative Commons License
In the right-hand column on the Epiphanies main page, you’ll find a link to the creative commons license I’ve decided to put this under. The attribution clause says “You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor”, so I figured I should find a good spot to specify that, and here it is. If you decide to use any of the content in the epiphanies blog according to that license (please do read it–it’s incredibly short and easy to understand), please attribute it with the following:
“This material provided courtesy of burningvoid.com under a creative commons license”, with a link back to either the main page or the Epiphanies main page (assuming the reproduction is online).
Thank you for noting and abiding by this. You’ll note that the license specifies non-commercial use, which basically means you can’t put it in your book and sell that, for example. You could, however, reproduce a prompt in your blog along with your response to it, as long as it included the link and attribution.
Thanks to Six Apart and Movable Type for putting the means to create a creative commons license very seamlessly in the Movable Type blog software.
Please note that this license only applies to the Epiphanies blog. The main Burning Void site is still all-rights-reserved unless you receive direct permission to reproduce content, and unless I add a creative commons license directly to the other blogs, the same is true of them.
