Literary Journal seeking Short Stories
Hi all,

We need short stories and flash fiction.

We are starting up a new, weekly literary journal. This will be small (16 pages), so each issue will contain about two short stories, two flash fiction, and some reviews and readers letters. However since it will be published weekly, that leaves room for a fair amount of content every month.

The internet, will be the primary publishing medium, and so it will be available for free from our website. We are also going to run off at least 500 printed copies for distribution here in Malaysia (which will also be available for free).

We already have the finances in place, all we are waiting for now is the superb content. Since we are giving the journal away for free, we can't pay anything for submissions, but what we offer is a by-line, a short bio, links to your website from our contributor section. Basically because we can't pay we try to give our writers as much publicity as possible.

Call for Submissions

Poetry journal scheduled to launch in January 2006 now accepting submissions for inaugural issue. Mission: develop and maintain accessible literary journal for publication of well-crafted poems that stand as examples of depth and artistic integrity. Encourage both emerging and established artists in their endeavors.

Poems of any reasonable length accepted. No reading fee. Send no more than 3 poems at a time in any 30-day period unless requested. If poems are long and you send submissions as separate e-mails, put artist’s name and 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc. in subject line. Sorry, attachments will not be opened - paste into e-mail.

Putting last touches on web design, and trying to garner funds so artists can be paid even a token amount for their talents. For now,offer publication on site with short bio,and undying gratitude for giving a fledgling journal a chance.
