after some iterations, I set my Call of Cthulhu Character Generator for creating, saving, editing and printing Call of Cthulhu investigator's character sheets (basing on the Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu 1920s Horror Role-Playing System) online. It's 100% freeware.

The Chaosium BRP Character Generator ist an ideal tool for gamemaster using the Chaosium Basic Role Playing® System, or the RuneQuest III system.

You enter species, weapons, armor, spells, qualification and experience as well as prehistory - The Chaosium BRP Character Generator fully automatic creates and prints NPC character sheets including magic and compat skills, boni, hit points, magic points and endurance points, armor points etc.

In order to improve the characters qualification for your purpose, the Chaosium BRP Character Generator allows to automatically create e. g. hundreds of characters, but only chooses the 'best' of them (by means of e. g. closed or ranged combat suitability, magic ability ...) to be printed.

Another extra feature is the 'hero generator' - Just one mouse click, and the BRP Character Generator prints a character sheet with a completely random group of 'heros' sometimes requiring a certain amount for your sense of humor and ability to improvise.
