The world is once again safe for wizard kind. However, some things are happening that suggest perhaps it's not as safe as we think it once was after the defeat of the dark Lord Voldemort, whom was defeated in 1997 by the famous hero, Harry Potter.
* After Albus Dumbledore, the previous headmaster of Hogwarts was killed, a few Headmasters were placed in the school, but none of them seemed to fit quite right. In 2017, Braydon McCallen of the Ministry of Magic was placed as Headmaster. We'll see if he makes it...
* In 1999, Minerva McGonagall left the school and her post as Deputy Headmistress. They had trouble filling this spot as well, but finally in 2016, Julissa Detrin was placed as the Deputy Headmistress.
* Several of the Professors left Hogwarts after Albus Dumbledore was killed. All the House Heads left, or in the case of Severus Snape, fled. As with the case of the Headmaster and Deputy Headmistress, they had trouble locating someone to fill these spot
