Description: Though there are many individual women gamers who write about their experiences, and many sites for women who game to connect and play with each other, none of these sites are there for the express purpose of highlighting gamers (both in the industry and outside of it) and bringing women’s perspectives into the mainstream. It may be a lofty goal, but that’s exactly what we here at Iris aim to do.<br /><br />Though Iris is primarily a resource to help women who are in the industry or would like to be, our community goals are much broader than that. Through our community features, we seek to connect people who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to get to know each other, and to hopefully diversify the perspectives of all of those involved.
