I think this is most positive review I read of this book. You do mention a couple of things I may like as well….hummmm….I like role revearsals…..let’s see. Thea said she would give me the book if I wanted to,I will say yes. : )

J Scott: That definitely happens to me when a book really draws me in. I come out of it feeling like I haven’t entirely left yet, and I have to give that time to dissipate before diving into another world. Non-fiction is usually a good follow-on in that case.

Bill: Sounds like your granddaughter has a great start! I’ll drop by your blog sometime this week when my head isn’t all stopped up and I feel capable of thinking straight.

I will get this book. I like kick butt heroines, I am stashing books away for my granddaughter to read. Her mom is a take no prisoners kind of gal and we both want her to grow up knowing she can do anything she wants.

“All in all, Dagger-Star was a sheer delight to read. I finished it night before last and I’m still reading a non-fiction book because I can’t quite get myself to supplant that world’s place in my imagination with another.”

Glad to know I’m not the only one who sometimes needs to move to another genre after finishing a book. It’s like, “Yeah, I’ll clean my reading palate, but not just yet. Let me linger over the taste a while.”

stephanie: Well in this case I have to say it’s Penguin Group’s doing, since they’re the ones raining books down on me. It might be a challenge to keep up, but wow is it worth it to discover authors like Vaughan!
