Back to that ol' pet peeve of mine, entitlement. But well, ultimately, they're the ones who'll be most unhappy because of it. I've had so many guildies outright quit because they felt they were being ignored in guild chat. For instance, someone would ask a question in guild chat during a slow time, and not get an answer. But the question would be something like, "Is there an enchanter online?" Well, if I'm not an enchanter, guess what I'm going to answer? Nothing! I'm not even going to respond. I can't speak for the entire guild in that respect, and I shouldn't. I also shouldn't be responsible for hunting down an enchanter for this person. Indeed, as you suggest, chances are, I'm under attack anyway, and can't immediately respond.
