Scott: Yeah, that occurred to me when I put the bumper sticker in there, but I decided I just didn't care. =}

drow: I know what you mean; that would have been part of the rant I decided not to post at 2 am. I was at the gym the other night, and they have a bank of large TVs across one wall to keep everyone occuppied while you get your workout in. Although I didn't have headphones plugged in, what I noted was that every single story had a celebrity of some kind in it. You'd think they were the only people who mattered the way the "news" covers them.

I have to agree on Jon Stewart. :)

i'd love to be paying attention to politics, but the UW did a study of TV news in the region, and less than a minute out of every half hour is political coverage. of that, six seconds addresses actual issues instead of scandal and spin. that, compared to 10 minutes of commercials and nearly 8 of sports and weather.

you know, just in case you didn't realize how broken the american media really is these days. thank the gods for john stewart.

I've been paying too much attention to politcs... especially the torture bill that was signed into law by the cowardly lawmakers.

I like the bumper sticker... but wouldn't be suprised if someone argued that crossing out Republican makes you unAmerica-- no further justification required. (Please come quickly, Novemeber this year.)
