Yes, I finally did it: I posted another review! *phew* Check out College Cooking: Feed yourself and your friends by Megan & Jill Carle. The short version: if you know someone who’s going to college, buy them a copy.

I draw nearer and nearer the end of my reading of “The Oldways Table.” There’s a surprising amount of essay in there; it’s really a teaching book more than a cookbook, with recipes provided as context and example.
