I love big cats! This looks like a great book, Heather. By the way, I very much enjoyed your review of it. A 6 out of 5 rating says a lot.

Thanks for stopping by, Heather! And thanks for pointing me toward this book. My two-year-old daughter loves cheetahs (for the past year, her constant companion has been a stuffed cheetah). She may be a bit young for this book now, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind for the future!

I like handing out copies of James Alan Gardner's Expendable, because the quick pulpy action and very cool hero work, even for people who aren't big on reading. I should give out copies of A Wizard of Earthsea (by Ursula LeGuin), because it's incredibly well written. The first book is great (and resolves with a meaningful conflict), and the hero remains fascinating through the trilogy. He ages well, gaining depth with years. Now I want to read it again!
