King and Bradbury---two of the most consistently prolific authors I know of---write about 2,000 and 1,000 words a day, respectively, and when they've written that much they stop for the day. And you know what? They're smart for limiting themselves to that much. You burn out otherwise, or injure your hands, or the like. I eventually came to the conclusion that really smart writers don't write too much at once.

They looked a little to clean. *grins*

5k a day, that’s a verbiage megaton. I think that’s more than Stephen King! *saps brain waves*

Krones: They're strictly indoor cats. Partly because indoor cats have an average lifespan that's twice as long(!)---no dogs, mean kids, parasites, tick-borne diseases, etc. Partly because they have such short fur, making any low temperature bad for them. And partly because they're allergic to some vaccines, so we only get them the legally-required rabies vaccine, meaning we don't want to risk them getting exposed to anything else. As it is, Selene has to get a Benadryl shot before her vaccine, and they have to restrain her for that part (one time she kicked so hard while getting the shot that she was lame for months).

I have 227 reviews up at Amazon, and more than 500 of the 550+ on our blog are mine---but then I've been doing this for 10 years now. I don't know how many words I write now; I doubt it's more than a thousand a day at my most prolific. When I was freelancing I used to do up to 5000 words a day.

Do you ever let them outside? :) I can tell Cahlash is all, "I'm in your house, waiting to lolctatz u!" Sorry, I couldn't help it. Congrats on the ding! That must be one hell of a lot of reviews. Have you ever calculated how many words you've written for the week over the course of a month or two?

Feline: Thank you! You'd probably never guess they're littermates. Selene is half Cahlash's size, just about, and they're SUCH different colors. They're also very different personality-wise. They're so awesome, though.

Bridget thank you! I agree they're pretty, but I'm also awfully biased. *grin*
