Second LotRO thoughts

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

I haven’t hit the limits of the open beta for the Lord of the Rings Online game, but I have had a chance to play around a bit more, so it’s time for a few more thoughts on the game. Again, there will be a handful of comparisons with Warcraft just because that’s my other game of choice so it’s what I have to compare it to.

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007

On track

Friday, April 6th, 2007

Well, we’re another step closer to having that business and being able to roll out a couple of new things. In the meantime, our partner-in-crime keeps coming up with Mother’s Day Warcraft shirts. :) And I think my GIMP skills are improving, so they’re coming out pretty well.

Yet more reviews, and Warcraft mods

Tuesday, February 6th, 2007

A couple of new reviews have gone up:

I know I’ve talked about some of my favorite Warcraft UI mods before, but it’s been a while, and mods change frequently. So, here we go, another foray into a few of my favorites; most of these can be found at Curse Gaming.

Fake Warcraft Items for Fun and… Well, Not Profit

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

Foton over at AFK Gamer pointed the way to a nifty new online toy: the World of Warcraft item and spell creator, on which you can create nifty-looking items and spells and let folks rate them. There are a ton of options–it’s really quite well done–and it’s a lot of fun to play with:
