It's actually a pudding, rather than a drink---I just flavored it after a coffee drink. :)

Definitely using lower-fat liquids tends to make it less thick & creamy. However, you can muck with the amount of liquid or the amount of tapioca to help cover for this. It's worth experimenting---worst case you end up with a batch or two that's a bit on the overly-thick or overly-thin side, and it'll probably still taste good. Not to mention the ingredients are pretty cheap. The original recipe on the back of the box uses 2 cups water and 3/4 cup coconut milk for liquid, just to give you an idea, and adds the coconut milk about five minutes before the end of cooking. (That's why I added an extra quarter cup of liquid to mine, and it's a pretty thick pudding.) I'd expect that all milk would work with, at most, a small variation in amount.

OmNomNom!

I've never made tapioca, so I'm curious: how does it work with less fat? Like, can you make it with all milk in place of the half-and-half?

Here's hoping that the second movie will be better than the first, with or without Lady Jaye. Here's the image from the episode "The Traitor Part 2" that some of us remember. Um, no further comment. http://www.joeheadquarters.com/images/traitor29.jpg

I find it easier to play them in NWN/NWN2 because a limited spell selection seems to work fine against a general array of limited/similar encounter types.

However table top they're harder. The Archmage class is feat spendy to qualify for in the table top but lends a pretty large hand to a sorceror I've found. I tend to dump combat casting to make room for 2 metamagic feats in my choice. Ussually human so I can get the extra feat. Gets you 8 by level 20 which isn't TOO bad since 3 of them have to be 2x spell focus and skill focus. I only pick up combat casting if we're doing an epic game for the improved version prereq.

This works pretty well if you get yourself a variety of evocations or conjurations that have elemental effects and different AoE patterns. When you pick up mastery of the elements you can throw them as any elemental type (ussually sonic) and cover large areas, cones, rays, bolts etc.. mastery of shaping helps a lot with this too so you can throw them over your party and not kill them in the process.

This mostly only works for elemental focused evoc with those two high arcanas. Though reach mastery and the like can help a touch based sorc as well. The big problem really I've found is the lack of prestige classes for them over all. There's quite a few but they're like half this/half that which I feel is nerf.

Really nice article. My hobby is reenactment and living history parties, and you can't even imagine what I feel when I see the clothes and when I know how it should look like...
Sometimes I even don't know what to do - to laugh, because it's really funny or to cry coz the history takes awful perverted forms.
