I'm so bummed, I actually got those stupid velvet loops out of my dress and put some regular metal rings in, repleated the skirt and everything and had switched my work schedule all so I could stay home with the flu and miss out on all the fun. I'm sure I made the doctor's day by being the hospital's first confirmed case but that's really not what I had in mind. I guess I could have come anyway and brought the plague; that's historically accurate, right? :P Hope everyone had a great time. So… when’s the next one? The meal was great, but the people are even better. We have so much missed the camaraderie of old friends (umm, friends we have known a long time. Not to suggest that any of us are in any way OLD.) and are looking forward to many recurring opportunities to meet like that some more. Tis why we were trying so hard to get Eric to stay over. Of course you are always welcome to jump in the car. We won't even GET in armor for another half hour or so at this point. Just call if you would like to come down. As a general rule, anytime we have an event that gets the squires down on a Saturday, we will likely be in armor on Sunday. :-) Thanks again for the bread...
