- tenderloin steak
- granulated sugar
- a few spices (we recommend chili powder and garlic powder)
This is an incredibly simple recipe. Mix together perhaps 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon chili powder, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. (Adjust amounts to your taste.)
Take out the tenderloin and pat it dry with paper towels. Roll it in the sugar mixture, taking care to coat all sides. Broil it until it’s done to your satisfaction.
NOTE: This WILL smoke on the broiler. Make sure to have the fan-hood on.
