Margaret Atwood–Marrying the Hangman

I love Margaret Atwood’s writing–“The Handmaid’s Tale” gave me shivers, and so does the above poem, “Marrying the Hangman.” It’s a style that reminds me a bit of something a friend of mine, Bev, might write. Yes, she’s that good.
