I just noticed this morning that we’ve officially passed the 550-review mark. Whoo!
I’m currently reading Tan Twan Eng’s The Gift of Rain, and hope to review The Great Country Inns of America Cookbook sometime today.
And finally, I wanted to share a few book- and writing-related T-shirt designs with you. As some of you may know, we have a couple of Cafepress stores we run. One carries designs for geeks and gamers, while the other carries everything else, particularly related to books, writing, food, cooking, and general humor. Our best-selling designs at the latter store have always been our book- and writing-related designs, such as:
I’d say “Word Nerd” has been our most popular.
As you can see they come in much more than T-shirts thanks to Cafepress’s wide array of print-on-demand products. Buttons, magnets, mugs, stickers, posters, you name it. Other than their “Value T-shirt” I’ve always experienced and heard great things with regard to the quality of their items, and we avoid posting designs on the value shirt for just that reason. Anyway, since people have enjoyed those so much, I thought we’d start providing more book-related designs. Two more went up last night and this morning:

Since there’s been interest with “Word Nerd” in buying bulk items (the hundred-packs of buttons and magnets that Cafepress offers), we’ve posted those for these designs too, and discounted all the hundred-packs over these book-related designs. I imagine they’d make fun giveaways for book clubs, libraries, and other book-related events. More to come soon—both T-shirts AND reviews!
What fun things! Love the Word Nerd. I can see why it is so popular 🙂
stefanie: Thank you! I had fun with that one. 😀
hi, Heather!
I love the Book Lover T-shirt and the Book Nerd Hooded Sweat shirt is pretty cool too! I’ll have to put a couple of these items on my Christmas wish list and make sure that hubby sees them! 🙂
Lotus: Cool! *grin* By the way, cafepress has store mailing lists (accessible from the main page of each store, at the bottom of the left-hand nav bar), and we always do a monthly mailing with a hidden sale section just for subscribers, so feel free to sign up and wait for something you want to go on sale.
