Jane Seabrook’s Purry Logic is the perfect gift for any cat lover. It’s a little gift-book filled with charming cat art, each piece accompanied by the perfect cat-spirational saying. What struck me the most as I read through this book was the utter perfection of the expressions on these cats faces and their poses, and how hilariously true to life they were. Anyone who has cat family will immediately find themselves identifying which cattitudes match up with those of their own furred ones! (I myself had one of those “OMG it’s Cahlash’s vacant-face!” moments).
The sayings themselves are funny and entertaining, but nothing particularly new or unusual. What makes them wonderful in this case is the context. For instance, the “What canary?” page is transformed from “cute” to “OMG perfect” through the horrified confusion in the accompanying cat’s face.
It’s obvious that the author-artist, Ms. Seabrook, is intimately familiar with all the foibles of cats, and has gone to great lengths to reproduce them. Check out the Purry Logic website for a taste of her art, and if you like it, be sure to pick up a copy of the book as a gift for your favorite cat lover! I already plan to gift at least one copy at the holidays…
This post brought to you by Cahlash and Selene, whose foibles showed up many, many times over the course of this book. Yes, Cahlash really does have his paw over his eyes in this photo:

My daughter is going to love this book. Thanks for the link!
