…for, “my cat just tried to ‘help’ me do the step aerobics program, but I successfully completed it AND didn’t step on her.” And it should give you some sort of bonus points on your score. ‘Cause let me tell you, that’s a whole ‘nother level of difficulty!
Speaking of cats, the latest book review is of Jane Seabrook’s Purry Logic, which is just plain cool! I’m sorry that was it for reviews this week; Monday was a holiday, and then I spent most of the rest of the week working on other things. We’re THIS close to opening that Etsy store; I made a bunch more of those cloth bags; and I kind of got hooked on playing with a fractal program and turning the results into pieces of art:

There are at least three upcoming book reviews, of a health care book, a cookbook for cancer survivors, and a pricing/business book for crafters, most immediately. In the meantime, here’s a random bit of fun:
From the very good taste blog, a list of things all omnivores should try eating.
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results.
So here I go. There are a few that I don’t remember having for sure but might have had in the past, like foie gras, but I’ll leave those un-bolded.

From which I think the only logical conclusion is that there are some shocking omissions from my list of foods I’ve tried.
What about you folks? If you do this, let me know!
I agree, there ought to be extra points for cat-dodging. I don’t know how they would calculate it though. 🙂 Lately I have been hooked on the Link Crossbow trainer, in anticipation of our getting crossbows. 🙂
There are a lot of foods on there that I don’t even recognize. I will have to look them up in order to be able to try them. We have a fair bit of overlap in things that we have tried, with some differences of course. Snake isn’t bad.
I’ve had 33. I’ve had a prickly pear margarita. Does that count?
Cian: Yeah, I guess it would be tough to adjudicate. I’ve tried to avoid shopping through too many of the wii games, just because I don’t have a lot of spare time for games anyway. The Link Crossbow trainer, I admit, is tempting!
Tara: I definitely think that should count. 😉
Next time you are here you can get hooked, I mean “try it out”.
You pusher, you! Haven’t you done enough damage already? 😀
I’m surprised wii fit didnt tell you your weight seems to have changed when the cat was on, ours seems ever so sensitive.
But in regards to links crossbow trainer, it is a must, bargain price too
Matt: It was more that she was curling around the base of it, rather than stepping onto it. So luckily she didn’t set that off. The other day my other cat climbed on my knee while I was doing the zen candle focus exercise, though, so you can imagine how well that went! 😀
What about cow brain? I did try it once it was great….. 🙂 – really
BTW I have had 88 – flowers
Have to say, for the price the crossbow is the best addon you can get. As for standing on your cat…. 😉
Dude, have you really tried haggis? That’s awful =) and whole insects? I stand ready to puke.. =) But some dishes on that list are really good. Baba ganoush is really good!
