I have some reviews from Rene that I’m almost ready to put up, and a few books I’m ready to review. I found out that the reason I’ve been so lame is I have anemia, but I’m gradually regaining energy from taking iron supplements, so I’m hopeful that we’ll be picking up the pace again soon. Many apologies for the reviews that haven’t gone up yet!

I’m so sorry to hear that… what you have is no pickle so do take care and do take it easy. I have anemia too and after a few years I learned that I had to trust my body and when it says I need to slow down I REALLY need to slow down.

Thank you, Teresa! Learning to trust my body is still a work in progress. I tend to feel guilty when I’m not being productive, even when I know better. 🙂
Just take liver, its rich in iron, it can help you for your anemia
Ugh. I can’t stand liver.
Besides, Heidi, I actually have a good diet with plenty of red meat and other iron-containing foods. The problem is that this isn’t nearly enough. Which might mean I’m losing blood, such as through an ulcer—in which case “just take liver” is pretty crappy medical advice. This is why it’s a bad idea to play doctor on the internet.
